Privacy, in plain English
What we hold, why we hold it,
What we hold, why we hold it,
and when we bin it.
No forty-page policy written to lose you. This is everything Real Movers Network does with personal data, in the same plain English we use everywhere else.
Who we are
Real Movers Network is operated by PSPD Limited, United Kingdom, which is the data controller for everything on this site. Anything in this policy, any question, any request: [email protected]. A human reads it.
Customer enquiries — the queue, and the 12-month rule
- What we take: the name, phone or email, rough timing and message you type into an enquiry form. Nothing else — no account, no tracking profile.
- On a claimed district: your enquiry goes straight to the one listed firm. We keep a copy in that member's own dashboard so they can call you back and you both have a record. We never sell it, resell it or send it to anyone else.
- On an unclaimed district: your enquiry waits in the queue for the firm that claims the district — that's the whole point of leaving it. If no firm has claimed the district within 12 months, your details are deleted automatically. Not archived. Deleted.
- One introduction, ever: a queued enquiry is handed to the first firm that claims the district, once. Your details go to that firm and nowhere else.
Member details
- What we take: business name, your name, mobile, email, van count and base postcode — the details you give us when you claim a district. They go on your district page because that's what the page is for.
- Payments: handled by Stripe on Stripe's own secure pages. Your card number never touches our servers, and we couldn't read it if it did.
- How long: for as long as you hold a district, plus what UK law makes us keep for accounts and tax afterwards. Cancel and your page comes down; your billing history stays only where the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
- No tracking cookies. No ad pixels. No consent banner needed — because there's nothing to consent to.
- We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and without identifying you, plus our own first-party counts of searches and claims so we know the site works.
- When you tap "Call direct" or a firm's website link, we count the tap — district and timestamp, nothing else. We never see your phone number, never hear your call, and the website link goes straight to the firm, not through us.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: [email protected]. We answer within a month, usually much faster.
- Deleting a queued enquiry pulls you out of the queue — say the word and it's gone the same day.
- Not happy with an answer? You can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk), the UK's data regulator. We'd rather you told us first so we can fix it.
The short version: we hold the minimum, we hand it to exactly one firm, and we delete it on a clock. That's the whole policy.
